Family HealthCare Center opens in former Pence Automobile Company building

If the Pence Automobile Company building had been a patient, its chart might have read “critical.”

When completed in 1920, the handsome Classical Revival-style building boasted three stories and glazed brick with cream-colored terra-cotta trim. It was described at the time as “the best automobile sales and service building in the Northwest.” Read more…





Winner Named in Logo Design Competition

The Downtown Community Partnership (DCP) is excited to announce Jessi Larson as the winner of the Logo Design Competition. “We set out to get the community involved with developing our new logo as part of our 2013 strategic plan on rebranding ourselves as an organization” said Mike Hahn, President/CEO of the Downtown Community Partnership, “We received over 20 entries ranging from freelance graphic designers to college students to graphic development firms. We couldn’t have been more excited with the participation!” The selection process narrowed down the top three which were then decided upon by the Executive Committee and the top design was approved by the Downtown Community Partnership Board of Directors.
